Ford Motor Co.'s design studios worldwide will provide styling ideas for an American icon: the next generation Mustang. "It is a common process we [now] use on every vehicle," Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president for global product development, said Tuesday at the Geneva auto show. Ford's next-generation pony car will be the first Mustang with styling themes proposed by studios in Europe, Australia and other regions.
Caterham has today revealed it is moving into motorbike racing, with the launch of a Moto2 World Championship team that will debut in 2014. The two-bike team will compete in the feeder series to the ultra-popular MotoGP championship, with one rider – American Josh Herrin – already being confirmed for one of the race seats. After the Rinspeed Squba – the Lotus Elise that went underwater – Frank Rinderknecht’s latest concept car seems almost tame by comparison. Called the iChange it’s a ‘1-2-3-seater’ with moveable bodywork. 'It's exciting and sporty and really different from the Squba,' Rinderknecht told CAR.
